5. Events, walks and workshops
-
Outdoor risks: our events take place outdoors, in parks, forests, wetlands, ridges and other natural areas. These carry risks such as uneven ground, insects, animals, plants, heat, cold, rain, poor air quality and traffic on the way. You take part at your own risk and are responsible for your own health, fitness and belongings. Please tell the event lead about any medical condition that could matter.
-
Safety and instructions: follow the instructions of the event leads and guides. We may ask anyone who ignores safety instructions or behaves badly to leave, without a refund.
-
Conduct: respect other participants, local communities and wildlife. Do not litter, pick plants, disturb animals or nests, play loud music, or use flash or playback calls unless the event lead allows it. Smoking, alcohol and drugs are not allowed at events.
-
Children: children under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian, who is responsible for them throughout the event. Some events may have a minimum age, which is shown on the event page.
-
Weather and changes: we may change, shorten, postpone or cancel an event because of weather, safety or other reasons. See our Refund and Cancellation Policy.
-
Photos and videos: we may take photos and videos at events and use them on our website, social media, reports and publicity. If you do not want to appear in them, please tell the event lead at the start of the event.
6. Events by other organisers
-
The site may list events run by other organisers whose events are in line with conservation, such as Rest With Nature. The organiser is named on the event page.
-
The organiser is responsible for conducting the event, its safety and its specific terms. We list these events and process bookings for them.
-
The organiser’s cancellation terms shown on the event page apply where stated. Otherwise, our Refund and Cancellation Policy applies.
-
We may receive a share of the booking amount, which supports our conservation work.
7. Donations
-
Donations are voluntary. Receipts under Section 80G of the Income Tax Act are issued where applicable. You must give your correct PAN and address to get one.
-
Donations are generally non-refundable. See our Refund and Cancellation Policy.

9. Content you send us
-
If you post comments, submit photos (for example for competitions or surveys) or share sightings, you confirm that the content is yours and lawful.
-
You let us use, display and share it, with credit to you where possible, for our non-commercial conservation and education work. Competition-specific rules apply where stated.
-
We may remove any content that is offensive, misleading or unlawful.
10. Limitation of liability
-
To the extent allowed by law, we are not liable for any indirect loss, or for any loss caused by events outside our reasonable control, such as courier delays, weather, natural events or failures of third-party services.
-
Our total liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid for that order.

Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 or any other law that cannot be excluded.
