Day 1: Nature Walk at Sanjay Van
We kickstart the Summer Camp with an invigorating nature walk at Sanjay Van, a lush green forest in the heart of New Delhi. Led by an experienced guide, children will have the opportunity to discover the wonders of the local flora and fauna. They will learn fascinating facts about the surrounding ecosystem and engage in interactive activities that promote environmental awareness and conservation.
Day 2: Film Screening at NDNS HQ
Lights, camera, action! On the second day of our Summer Camp, we invite the children to immerse themselves in the captivating world of a nature film. At the NDNS headquarters, we have prepared an exclusive screening of visually stunning and animated educational film that highlights the beauty and importance of our natural world. Through this film, children will gain valuable insights into various ecosystems, animal behavior, and environmental issues.
Day 3: Art and Photography at Lodhi Garden
Unleash your child’s creative side on day three as we explore the intersection of art, photography, and nature at the picturesque Lodhi Garden. Accompanied by a talented artist and photographer, children will learn how to capture the beauty of nature through various artistic mediums. From sketching to painting and even experimenting with nature photography, this day promises to be a feast for the senses.
Day 4: Bird Feeder Workshop, Meet Dogs, Harvest Veggies at Green Vibes Farm
Prepare for an exciting day at Green Vibes Farm! We begin with a hands-on workshop where children will create their own bird feeders, fostering a sense of responsibility towards our feathered friends. Furthermore, the farm has several friendly dogs, providing an opportunity for children to interact with these loving and gentle companions. To top it off, children will also have the chance to harvest fresh vegetables and learn about sustainable farming practices.
Day 5: Tree Climbing at Nehru Park
